What is NDIS?
The NDIS supports eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disabilities. The NDIS is designed to help people get the support they need, improving their skills and independence over time.
What services does Tribe offer for NDIS clients?
Tribe provides psychosocial support to NDIS participants in both one-on-one and group settings. We assist with all support outside the home, and we specialise in getting participants out into the community, meeting new people and experiencing new things.
Why Tribe?
We are a community. Tribe was formed in early 2017 as a social enterprise to assist lonely and isolated people to engage in the community. We remain committed to that cause. Tribe was not created for the NDIS; it was created for people, but it soon came to our attention that many of our attendees had disabilities and required assistance to attend our events. As a result, we started an NDIS support wing to assist people with disabilities so they can attend our events and strengthen their community connections. This support option has proved to be very popular.
A group for everyone!
Tribe is open to everyone, and our events are free to attend. All support workers are encouraged to attend and become part of our community. Everyone needs a Tribe.
